FAQ

How DO I care for wooden goods?

All wooden products are made of responsibly sourced hardwood and should not require much upkeep. Wooden products are hand wash only and should not be soaked or submerged in water for lengthy periods. Walnut oil, mineral oil or beeswax will keep your wood objects looking good as new.

Should they become scratched, light scratches can be gently sanded out and finished once again with mineral oil or beeswax.

How do I care for my wall hanging?

Wall hangings can get a little out of shape during transport. Upon arrival, gently flatten the wall hanging or press the rope into place and lightly comb the fringe with your fingers.

Hang with the stitched side against the wall; hang with small nail(s). Nailing holes in the wall can be intimidating, so one nail should hold your wall hanging in place, however it can sag a little over time. An extra nail or two can lift up any sagging spots and keep your piece looking like new.

As with most art, wall hangings can benefit from an occasional light dusting. You can also run a lint roller over it’s surface to pick up any loose dust or debris.
